Josh Blakley – Co-Founder
What’s up everyone! I quit my dream job as a graphic designer to do the Pacific Crest Trail. Parkour coach and photographer are two other passions of mine. I graduated from North Idaho College majoring in Graphic Design in 2015. Seven years of Parkour led me to be a videographer and photographer. I have worked with companies such as, MeUndies, MylesApparel and Craft and Lore Leather. I have been lucky to be in a Macklemore Music Video (Downtown) doing dance and parkour. I was born in Ohio but am now based out of the beautiful city of Coeur d’ Alene, ID. This place led me to meeting David and my girlfriend Taylor whom I started MTNTalk.com with. Thanks for visiting the blog and I look forward to collaborating with you!
David Humphreys – Co-Founder
Hello! My name is David Humphreys. I’d just like to start by saying thank you to all who’ve stumbled upon our blog. We hope you find our content engaging and entertaining.
As a Coeur d’Alene native, I feel at home in North Idaho’s backcountry. I love to camp, climb, snowshoe – you name it, I’d definitely be down to do it. I’ve got a great family, group of friends and a girlfriend who’s just as wanderlusty (is that even a word?) as I am. I’ve been stung by a stingray, have traveled Europe and I hate ketchup. For work, I write as a copywriter for a marketing team. It’s a great gig.
I enjoy writing about nature and people, but not myself (hence why this section is so short). Until next time, thanks for reading my fellow adventurers.
Taylor Abrahamson – Main Contributer
Hello fellow adventurers! My name is Taylor Abrahamson! I am the girlfriend of Josh Blakley and I am an enrolled Coeur d’ Alene Tribal member. I grew up in the small town of Worley, ID just south of Coeur d’ Alene. My heart will always be located there but as of now I settled my roots in the City of Coeur d’ Alene, ID. I enjoy making people laugh until they cry, my kitty named Spunks, and getting outdoors to breath fresh air! I’d like to say I see beauty in every thing and every one! Being positive is a huge part of my life and I hope to spread good vibes to everyone I meet (including animals). Getting outdoors with wonderful people is all the medicine I need to lead a happy life!
