Two With Love and Nature

I hope you all had a wonderful Valentines Day. Josh and I decided to celebrate this last weekend in Leavenworth, Washington. We got to snowshoe, walk through the shops, eat bratwursts, and enjoyed the comfort of a cozy Bavarian hotel. (I know its not outdoorsy, but hey it was a special weekend). It was my first time snowshoeing and I was pleasantly surprised that I enjoyed myself so much. It also helps that I have my own comedian named Josh Blakley that tags along with me.

So let’s not forget to show the same appreciation for your lover on every other day of the year as well. Josh and I try to do things we both love with the company of one another as often as we can. One of those things is hiking, no surprise there!

From day one, we have always been outdoors. Our first date we went to the Coeur d’ Alene Resort to get some Gooeys, and if you don’t know what a Gooey is, you’re missing out! It is a huge sundae filled with all sorts of sugary goodness! After we filled our tummies, we went to our local hiking spot called Tubbs Hill in Coeur d’ Alene, Idaho. It was a rainy April day, the sun was trying to peek through the misty clouds and the temperature was perfect. It was a memorable day for sure.

At the young age of 16, I was not sure what I wanted but Josh definitely sparked my interest. Thank goodness we toyed with each others love interest because we would not have developed into the couple we are now, almost 7 years later. We have grown so much in these amazing years together that I would not change it for the world. Traveling the world has always been one of our goals, hiking through natures finest. We will continue to do so as much as we can!

I just want to share a few of our adventure photos with you all and hope you enjoy. We truly love being with each other and connecting with nature.

Ps: Some photos aren’t the best quality, as they were taken from a phone. But that doesn’t deter the quality of our love.

Thanks for checking out some of our adventures we were able to share with each other. Valentines Day just helps us remember to treat each day as if it were special, because it is.

This weekend, the Mtn Talk crew is taking anyone and everyone to Palouse Falls for the day. We will provide goodies like coffee, cocoa, and kind bars. For everyone who did not have a date this Valentines day OR if you want to bring your date, thats cool too! Come play outside with us on February 18th!
